The picture you guys are talking about is a hammeck netty i believe. If I were dutch id be going crazy. Just releases a HUGE new website with loads of stuff and people are asking for the next thing already. He mentions it in the grand opening of makeyourgear.com, and the lack of a concrete date in the post leads me to believe that he is not announcing a date yet.
I thought that was a DIY project someone did.
I believe the DIY project was another photo from the website that someone ALSO thought was a new product.

I've got the funds for this and they're burning a hole in my pocket!

We are working on a design, but it is hard to come out with something that is original and keep it with our modular and simple principles. Also we need to be able to produce it in the quantities and not bog down other production. This is a tall feet and a lot of the vendors have long wait times for this reason. And then there is coming up with the whole name thing, I think the only bird names left are penguins and Big Bird. If you really need a hammock in 3 weeks I would suggest you get an order in now with one of the fine vendors that make them. Hammeck and Warbonnet are a couple of my favorites that can produce a netted hammock in a decent time frame. The envy-S is a really solid design and I love my Ridge runner and all my Blackbirds.
I have been very careful not to suggest a time frame. We made 5 prototypes so far nothing has really made me say whoopie. The one that was on my home page was a DIY one made by a customer from my DIY supplies who won a facebook promotion so they got to display their picture for a week.
Getting out in the woods in what is important, not who made your hammock and how it has a great right to left lay.
Peace Dutch
