Best hammock (length) for taller folk?

I'm about 6'5" and currently using a GT Skeeter Beeter Pro because it's the longest one (10'6") that I know of other than doing a DIY and making one longer myself. I feel that in this length I still don't get the greatest diagonal lay and wondering if there's something better or something I could be doing better?
So, for the tall folks out there - what brand/length is your hammock? How about your ridgeline length?

    TIA.

I'm 5'11" and use 11 ft. hammocks (Dutch) and 11 ft. tarps. The problem with going with a longer hammock is that you will then need a longer tarp. While some vendors sell 12 ft. tarps, you'll be getting into custom if you go any longer and of course, the longer the hammock and tarp, the more they will weigh.

Before going 12' or even longer, it might be worth trying something like Dutch's 11' extra wide 1.6oz Hexon hammocks. Maybe the longer length plus width will do the trick. If you doubt that this will be long enough, you can always ask Dutch to make you a 12' hammock.

Hammeck, Dream Hammock, Dutchware.....all make excellent 11 foot hammocks in the wider fabrics. I'm only 5'5" and I love my 11 ft. X 64 wide Hammock Breezy. Lots of room to stretch out and get diagonal.

I'm 6'7" and have an 11' Dutch hammock that's pretty nice, but have ordered a 12' from Elemental Hammock on my quest for the perfect lay.

If cost isn't too much an object, get a 12 ft. You can whip or tie a knot at different lengths allowing you to find the best length for you. If you find that 11ft is good for you, all things considered, leave it there or replace with a shorter hammock. Accept that you're gonna wind up with a bunch of them anyway, we all do.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I think if anything I'd go with a 12 footer since the 11 foot suggestion is only 4" longer than what I'm in now. It's not that it's not working, it's just not perfection...and we're all seeking perfection, aren't we?

Currently hangdangling in my 11'x72" dutchware. I'm 5'11 and it's so nice to have the room. If you want to expirement on the cheap, pick up a taffeta crinkle table cloth and get to tying it up in different lengths to see where your sweet spot is.

Don't underestimate what a difference half a foot can make. I (5'4") can tell the difference between a 10' and an 11' hammock. But a 10.5' hammock feels pretty much like an 11' hammock to me. Apparently for me, the law of diminishing returns means that I won't get noticeably more comfort when going over 10.5'. You'll have to find out what length that is for you. As has been said: a longer hammock means a longer and possibly wider tarp means more weight means less hang opportunities. When weight and hang distance are not important, go as long as you like. If they are, pick a hammock that is as long as necessary and as short as possible without sacrificing too much comfort.

BTW did you measure your GT Skeeter Beeter Pro? I found that often the specs are wrong and the actual hammock is shorter. Sometimes by a shockingly big margin...
