I am looking to make a tarp and stumbled across a .7 oz/yd on rockywoods. Does anybody have any experience with it. It seems to be awful thin for a tarp, but the weight savings is intriguing.

It would probably make a great summer tarp in low wind, but I would imagine it would get shreaded in moderate or heavy wind and would probably be APITA to sew. Can't say I've even seen fab that light thought.
By all means, let's argue about whether or not a hammock will hurt a tree. All the while ignoring the fact that there is an island of garbage the size of Texas floating in the Pacific ocean. Or how about the fact that over 75% of the world's nuclear reactors are leaking...
