Geez...wtf is going on with Amazon? Now they're saying that my Therm a rest that I ordered yesterday (Friday) isn't going to ship until Thursday. The site is saying that they've got 5 in stock. Guess I'll have to take my business elsewhere.

If amazon has said it's shipped, and hasn't, contact them first. Their customer service is very good usually.

Every day is a good day.

I'll be darned if I can find any means to call or email anywhere on the site. Not what I'd call "very good" customer service.

Also, taking six days to ship (not deliver) an item that's "in stock"? I don't find that at all satisfactory.

I've always had pretty good & timely service from Amazon. Yesterday I noticed something that had me scratching my head???? I was shopping for a new kayak paddle jacket. I like Kokotat stuff, so I saw a Kokotat jacket on Amazon for $137.75 with free shipping. It says it comes from/shipped from Outdoorplay. Out of curiosity I went straight to Outdoorplay's website and found the same jacket for $117 with free shipping (2 day priority). The regular retail price on this jacket was listed at $145 on both Amazon and Outdoorplay. Every other time I have checked the company that the item is coming from, the prices are the same. This time I saved $21 by dealing direct. From now on I'll check the company that the item is coming from first to see if the price is the same or lower. I know that returns on Amazon are easy and I hope that my experience with Outdoorplay is good. We shall see.

Amazon listed an expected delivery date of June 8-13 if ordered on June 4 and choosing expedited delivery. I don't know what expedited delivery means??? Does that cost more??? No way to find out unless you go through the order process to see.

I had ordered this a while back. I called Snugpak's North American distributor to find out what was going on. They were out of stock and waiting for the next shipment to come in. She told me that it should be coming in the first week of June. I think they put the lead time so long in the interim so people could still order it, knowing it was arriving in a month or 2. I imagine that once that container arrives, the lead times will probably go down to normal times.

I just ordered 3 from Amazon this last Monday. Expected delivery was originally next Wednesday, then I got an email saying they would be delivered Friday. I actually received them on Thursday. So I got them in less than a week.

SnugPak Jungle Blanket (Prime, and sold by Amazon) They are listing right now for $35.27

That is their regular blanket not UQ. I have one as well.

I ordered around the same time (April 12) and Amazon sent me an email asking to confirm I still want one given the prolonged delay. Expected shipping was June 10 and is now July 18 to August 11th :-/ Looks like the PLUQ will see some use this summer.
