Delivery Time for Snugpak

I ordered a Snugpak hammock quilt on Saturday, new but from eBay, and it shipped to me today (Monday). Just an FYI if anyone is looking to get one.

I too ordered mine at the beginning of April and was told mid-June for the expected delivery. While I was waiting for it to ship, I noticed comments on their product reviews saying that they got theirs delivered very quickly, and these people had ordered after me. I ended up canceling my order at the beginning of June, which is a shame because I really enjoy the SnugPak Top Quilt. I ended up getting the ENO Ember 2 through Gander Mountain. So far I like it and it was only about $20 more than the SnugPak.

Bear in mind there are 4 different Snugpak 'quilts/blankets' and we have to make sure we are comparing delivery times apples to apples.

The top quilts and jungle blankets seem to be well stocked.

There is also a cocoon which they had had some zipper problems w/.

The under quilts are where there is huge demand and resulting inventory gaps.

Our kids and extended family's kids are super hard on gear. I frequently buy the cheapest kit I can for starter gear for them to both learn, and if they are going to make mistakes break the cheaper kit. To that end I ordered several under quilts on 4/24. It has been saying it will ship in two days but who knows???

I am going to wait patiently even if it takes another month.

I'll be happy to swing back in once I get a shipping notice.

Sent corp in the U.K. a quick email asking when North America can expect happiness.

A Mr. Richard Lewis responded that they expect a shipment to the US in mid August and for retailers to begin getting inventory later in the month.

So, no more holding your breath out there. You'll be in trouble before your under blanket comes in.

I ordered in April, received notice from Amazon it is delayed. I contacted Amazon this morning. They said the inventory issue is resolved and I should receive it soon. Now, I wonder if that is true...

I was planning on grabbing one but have held out BC of the wait. I wonder if since there are sooo many people that have ordered and are waiting if when they finally do send a shipment over here if there will be enough to fill those orders plus have a stock for new orders?? I might just get the DD or cayanne pepper instead. DD is in stock now but a little more at $77usd. Heavier yes, but just as good. I'll hold out a little longer to see how the drama of "Snugpak UQ crisis 2016" finally ends lol.

That's for all the info. Ordered one last Monday. I'm in no rush, so I'll wait it out for awhile. I just hope they ship enough over here.

I ordered one June 15. I saw the Arrowhead deal and cancelled the Snugpack thru Amazon. I did not think I would get in time for the September 10th Lobster Hang. Also the info from here mentioned the bulk and thought otherwise, so I was able to cancel before shipment.

I am still waiting and Amazon status is a joke. Usually Amazon is spot on but this item must have had tons of problems. Been waiting since April.

I got an email from Amazon this morning pushing expected delivery back to Sep 11 - Oct 13.

So I guess Snugpak is still having supply problems.

I'm going to stay on the wait list because I don't really need them. But it would be a major let down for folks that had really been needing them.
