Sounds challenging. Looking forward to a great TR!

Let us know how the water situation is. I know that most of the year water needs to be cached, but since this is the "rainy season" (snowy today in central Indiana) I'm thinking there may be some streams flowing. I'm trying to decide where to hike in a couple of weeks from now.
Haha yeah it whooped us. I'm out here now, tomorrow morning we are trying to get out of here as soon as we can we have 11 miles left. We got to the deam lake trail head at 7:30 Thursday night. Hiked 2 miles, set up camp. Then 15 miles yesterday and 15 today. Tomorrow is a short 11. We both agreed we aren't hiking it SoBo. Water is great out here. I don't thing we have crossed a stream that doesn't have water in it. And every night we have camped we have been by water. We have hiked some of the knobstone before but thru hiking it kicked our butts. I'm not counting the first night we hiked 2 miles . but hiking it in 3 days is the fastest I could ever do it.

Oh and we haven't seen one person on the trail in 3 days ..

To hike it in 3 days is an awesome feat. Congratulations to the both of you.
You guys are Rock Stars! Well done! Thanks for the water report too!

Welp we finished it today at 2 pm. We totaled it up from start to finish was 66 hours. Water was good from start to finish But I would say there is a little less toward the north. Knobstone kicked our butts. We both are sore all over. My buddy was babying his knew the last 13 miles or so. It was sunny. It sleeted. It rained. It was also so windy it blew my groundhog stakes out twice. I can say we won't be attempting again anytime soon. This was our first thru hike so it will be interesting to see how other trails compare.
