    My first hang

Here are a couple of pictures of me with my first ever hammock setup with my all new whoopie song all in one suspension system and structural ridge line thanks to stu's amazing customer service. The hammock isn't anything special just a snug pack jungle hammock with built in bug net. However it works and my son was having a blast hanging with me.[AIMG]image.jpgimage.jpg[/AIMG]

Any hammock you can share with your son makes it a special hammock. Just gotta be careful because he will want his own now! Welcome to the fun of family hang time.

    First camping trip

Here are a few of the pictures taken from my first hammock trip. My brother and I set out to kayak up the San jacinto river at lake Conroe in the Sam Houston National Forest and find a spot to set up before the huge storm hit last Friday. Well we ran out of water to paddle up so we went back down the river and made to the mouth of the river at the lake. There was only one spot that looked promising enough to hang out hammocks in. Gut instinct told us not to do it and we didn't. Glad we didn't now. The weather radar was purple over is from 2:30 am to 9 am. I salvaged the rain fly from my ground tent and that was my first mistake. When the rain came in hard it might as well have been a net than a rain tarp. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Looks like type 2 fun maybe? Though that's a heck of a steak somebody's chawing down on. If you lived through it and learned something useful, then it's a pretty good trip. Cheers.

    Paleo diet?
