How do you hang your top quilts?

    Guys,
How do you hang you top quilts? I "believe" I would rather hang them in the closet rather than storing them in the large cotton bags so they would not be compressed while in storage. Am I wrong in thinking that hanging them is better than storing them in the bags?

I just toss mine in a plastic bin. They don't seem to be compressed, and I would rather not hang either the TQ or UQ - don't know why.

I hang my TQ and UQ as well as my sleeping bags which are all down. I have always hung them so I cannot say that one way is better than the other since I have never stored them any other way.

I keep mine hung up out in my Nut-Hut. It pulls up and down.

In a huge 100 liter plastic container. Both tq and uq has it's own container, just to be sure there is no compression :-).
I keep learning and will never know enough.

    To Shug and KABARUSMC,

Are you using a pulley system to raise/lower the bar? Any suggestions on what works the best?

How are you attaching the quilts to the bar? It looks like some of them are using the neck strap. I need to hang some sleeping bags that don't have a similar strap and I'm concerned that using the mummy drawstring will pull it out or damage the stitching. Any ideas?

I need a similar setup so I can make room to buy a TQ/UQ combo. The wife already things I have too many sleeping options so a space saver like this is a must.

    Thanks.
