Hey Pennsy!
Hickory Creek Trail is another good one, you just have to pay attention to hunting seasons.
Hickory and Hearts Content are on the list, now that we have the hiking bug. Laurie wants to check out Laurel Mills also. I think she's hoping to find a trail that is less rocky / rooty lol

Where are you guys from in PA? I'm new to the whole scene too and would like to find some people to hike with.
I'm in Erie. I'm new to hiking and wouldn't want to slow anyone down. Would like to do a short hike and camp in May with a group tho...

I might be game depending on when
I hate to tell you this, but dude, you live in Rocksylvania. It's where God keeps his rock collection. The roots are just there to keep them in place.
Seriously, though, Hickory has a lot of downed trees across the trail but it's not that rocky. I haven't done Hearts Content but it's in the same area so I'm guessing it's similar. Go anywhere else in PA and you'll get the R&R experience, and I don't mean rest and relaxation.

Nice! I've been to Minister Creek a few times, really a nice place, plenty of good trees. Thanks for sharing.
Good luck,
