Simply Light Designs Trail Haven

I ordered a Trail Haven tarp from Jared at Simply Light Designs. I sent him some material to use for tie-out reinforcements, and thread that I wanted used throughout. I see from the tracking info that it was delivered to him around noon on Friday 3/25. Now, keep in mind, he was waiting on my thread to actually build the thing.... Guess what showed up in the mail this morning, Monday 3/28? Pictures to follow this evening, when I get some time to hang it up and try it out, but I wanted to give a shout out to Jared for the unbelievable turnaround. I already have his Winter Haven acquired here on the forum - so I knew about his quality, and I heard about his fast turnarounds... But that's just crazy! Thanks again!

It's 11' x 98", made from dark olive Membrane Silpoly with blaze orange HyperD 300 reinforcements and matching blaze thread used throughout. The craftsmanship is outstanding, regardless of turnaround time! And I'm loving the color combo. And for the moment of truth...

Pretty sweet looking. I like that contrasting color for the tie-outs. I've been a big fan of Jared and as the owner/beta tester of Trail Haven #1, he's always my first choice for gear and other custom work!

Advertised weight on his site is 14.75ounces, how the heck did he get it that light?!

That would be the Membrane Silpoly fabric from ripstop by the roll - that stuff weighs in at <1 oz/sq yard. Really nice stuff.
