    And So It Begins

I think I'm in big trouble, but in a good way. I'm a total rookie and after considering so many options, I made my first hammock and gear purchase.

I called and talked to Dutch on Monday. Thanks Dutch for your patience and all the info. I ordered the 11 ft Netless Hammock in Hexon W 1.6 with spiders/straps on Monday. It shipped on Wed and I got it today (Fri). I just hung it in the garage and love it. I didn't expect everything to be so light. If this is the norm for service and quality, I'm about to get a lot lighter in the wallet.

Next order will be the Nano NoSeeUm for a diy Fronkey style bug net, then on to the tarp bling.

All the available info during my forum search was very much appreciated. What a great site!

Welcome to the addiction. Your experience sounds right on par with Dutch's customer service. It's rarely beaten by any company, large or small.

Sorry to hear you caught Dutch Fever. It's a very infectious disorder common amongst hammock hangers. I hear once caught there is no cure and the only way to ease the symptoms is to order bling...at least that's what the doctor told me.
