I don't think the DIY side of hammocks or the fine tuning of new tarps and UQ would be as easy or as much fun with out Dutch. I get excited every time I have a new envelope in my mail box from him.
I had an issue recently with a strap (one edge unravelled) that had a sewn on dutch clip and sewn on dutch buckle. Sent Dutch and email and he said he would send me a new one with an return envelope and to just cut off the clips and send them back to him. When I got my replacement there wasn't any return envelope. Apparently one of his elves forgot to put it with the replacement strap. I contacted Dutch and he apologized and even though I offered to send the clips back to him, he told me to just keep them and don't go to any trouble of sending them back. I thanked him via email and am posting this here to add my great customer support experience with him as well. I have since placed another order with him and will continue to not order from him but also sing his praises. It is refreshing in this day and age to find people who still give great customer support and stand by the products they sell.
