There will be a LOT of pictures, just placed an order for an Olympus TG-870 Tough Waterproof Camera to play with. I'm planning on making most of my meals, got an Excalibur dehydrator for Christmas. Some other gear is yet to be determined.

They don't really exist. Just a figment of our imagination.

HC, I drive right past you everytime I head up there. If you ever want to join me/us on any adventure just send a msg. Every other weekend is about my average, check out my journal.

That would be cool, but unfortunately I work weekends, have Monday/Tuesdays off. Unless I put in for the time off at least a month in advance. I do have the last weekend in April off for the Wally Wood Spring Hike on the Interlocken Trail off the FLT. So maybe see some of you there? A friend and I are camping overnight Friday before the hike, and I may just stay over Saturday night, too.

The videos are great to watch. My nephew (the yetti) and i are going to try some of the npt this summer.Good luck on your hike, maybe we will see you on the trail.
No need to fear bears when you walk with a Yetti. Just fear for your food!

I'm just outside the Northern Border of the Park, so if folks are this far north give me a holler. I can be in Lake Placid in less than an hour's drive.

I intend to be up in the dacks at least one weekend a month all year long.. Starting with a weekend in late April. I go out with trout in mind. So I camp near backwaters.. But I always have the latest and greatest toys, prints and fabrics from Ripstopbytheroll on me.. so If there's something you want to check out, just ask.

I also have 8 other hammocks, a bunch of tarps, and a few climashield UQ's I use as loaners, so if someone wants to give the hammocking thing a try.. You just need a TQ or sleeping bag.

I'm currently scheduled for surgery in early April, so we'll see which weekend the doctor finally lets me off the chain.

===> Hey Justin! Post up when you are going....would like to do a hike-in fishing trip with ya! My teaching schedule with MA Fish and Wildlife is a lot heavier this year, but I should be able to get a couple weekends for myself. Daks would be fun!

Anything in particular you want to go after? Still water? Streams? Distances? I just picked up a new set of Bean flyweight waders for backpacking.
