Well, not exactly new. I want to somewhat copy the design of the Maverick Gear bridge. What I'm thinking is somewhat hard to describe but here goes. My goal is a pretty flat lay with zero shoulder squeeze, the ability to sleep on my side or stomach, while still being relatively light. The design I'm picturing is basically a cot style bridge with side walls, and 2 sets of spreader bars. The side walls would have a curved cut with a seatbelt webbing reinforced rope channels, possibly similar channels on the bed section. The upper spreaders would be wider than the lowers, and further apart, kind of creating a canoe shape. I'm also considering cat cuts on the bed section. The head and foot ends would have a wall at the ends of the bed section and a storage area in the suspension triangles. Any input? Has anyone already tried this?
