Hey Iowans. Living in the country between Norwalk and Indianola. I recently became a hanger and now truly addicted to it as I'm sure most of you are. Is there any talk about an iowa hang out? I'll just put it out there that I have apx 7 acres of timber and 18 to the south of me that would make a fun fall hang that I would host. It might not be as adventurous as some would like but it would be away to get to meet and hang with fellow enthusiasts. I'm thinking that late October would work for me. Let me know if there are any interest
Most of the wildlife management areas in Iowa you can camp anywhere.
I would be interested in meeting a few other Iowa hangers in central Iowa the area as long as it is not in this humidity and heat we have been having. Typically I end up having to travel a fair distant to get some decent hiking, camping in but I would be interested in something local as well.
Yeah no humidity sounds good to me. We will keep the wheels turning and see if we can get something put together.
I'd probably be down as well. The humidity sucks but the sleeping in a hammock sure makes it more tolerable than a tent. Looking forward to fall and winter weather to get away from the heat, crowds and bugs.
Another from Waterloo, just getting into hanging.
Hang on Hangin on
