I'm not familiar with the geography in Finland, MN but the river below your campsite looked familiar. Have you posted trip from that river before, maybe a summer trip? Bet the sound of the river that night could put you to sleep.

I return to that spot over and over.
Love the cedary woods there and the quiet. About 4 hours from home and the whole topography changes up there.

Thanks for the video, Shug. They're supposed to get anywhere from 5-10 inches of fresh wet snow up that way later this week. Winter isn't through with us up here quite yet.

Another good'un. Yep, we're supposed to see 80* down here in the Tennessee Valley today. Spring comes in at 12:23am on Sunday morning. But it is nice to see you all out there enjoying some of the white stuff. Thankee.

I spoke too soon, another winter storm on the way in for the north land. Ya'll might get to use the snowshoes one more time after all

Ahhh...good old wet snow! Were not out of the woods yet.

Spring may have just had a toe in the door up here. Sometimes snow at Easter.
