I think I'll just give it a try since I have $600 in REI rebates.
I looked hard at that yesterday at the REI garage sale as they're on clearance. I guess they're not selling. When I originally saw it, I thought about making one to take for lounging with Caminante-cita while car camping, but at that price you couldn't make one for less. I didn't pull the trigger, but came very close.

I bought one and my 4 year old loves it.
It's like a couch in the trees.
A couple of the reviews suggest that it isn't designed for sleeping. Has anyone tried it? Might be a real deal indoor sleeper if comfortable enough.
they had one set up last time i went to REI. it's like a porch swing/couch suspended like a hammock. looked comfy to lounge in. it's bigger than it looks in the pics. for 37 bucks i might get one to throw up in the yard when people are over in summer.

I picked one up a couple weeks ago for $32. It is not for sleeping and will try to dump you out if you try laying down in it. But it is comfortable with room for 2 or 3 adults depending on how close you want to sit. I think it will be great for car camping with kids.
