I will be testing my DIY UQ on Rosebary Lake May 13-15. By the looks of it I will be glad I made one. It will be my first O/N sleep on the hammock. Very excited.

You might want to test your set up in your backyard first. Better to discover your mistakes in the backyard so you can bail out to the comfort of the house. Not fun to find your mistakes out in the middle of nowhere.

What sites do we have so far, one of my buddies on forum and my 2 brothers are looking at coming. If so I'll grab a site near by.

Sites are only reserved by lake so all we know right now is we have 2 sites. We just have to rely on highboy and anyone else showing up Thursday to pick something nice.
I do have a map with sites numbered from the forum Algonquin Adventures (a la Jeff's maps). We can figure out if there's any preferred sites before going so we don't have to paddle the whole lake to find the hang.

Haha, I knew that..... Sometimes my brain don't work so gooooood. Lol thanks for the reminder
Edit: I have booked a 3rd site. Wife and buddy (Cyphus on HF) are confirmed. Possible 2 of my brothers.

Need a little assistance with the map. Where would our start point be? Is it at the 1? Also isn't there supposed to be a desirable island to camp on at Rain lake? Also the map shows 2 fish icon by camp 11, does that mean its a good fishing area?
Looking forward to seeing some old faces and new as well and some nice temperatures.
