Alright, we are tossing around the idea of our 3 year old coming with us. Are any other kids coming, are kids welcome, is this more of an adults only event? Group consensus?

As a first - timer I'll defer to the collective wisdom of those who've done this before.

So far all of our group hangs have been adults only. I think most people that come out do so to have a little break from their daily lives including their family lives. Personally it's one of the reasons I go. I would love to take my kids out but it will be on a trip separate from a group hang. Having said that, I'm not 100% on the trip as I have a complex family life so I don't want to be the one to suggest we keep it adults only. I'll go with what the majority decides.

    Hello!

Is anyone heading out from Ottawa or Montreal? I offer gas money.

If so, I'd love to fill a bow seat, if one is still available.

If not, I'll need to sit this one out.

Can the kid scrounge firewood yet?

My only concern is noise. Looking at the roll call, we're on the verge of needing two sites that might be a way around any issues giving the little one their own place if tantrum time hits (as well as us not being as worried being loud after bed time).

Exciting times... Mountain Trout House's webcam in Dorset shows that the ice went out over the weekend! Doesn't mean Algonquin's ice free yet, but it's a good sign!

Little dude does love finding sticks. Lol

    He helps me setup sometimes.

Anyway I don't think he's gonna come but I figured I'd see what the group thought.

I've booked one site for Friday May 20th to 23rd on Rain Lake. We may need a second depending on numbers. As of now there are 8 or so sites remaining.
