So I have been doing some research in how I am going to do a tarp. If I wanted to dutch it out which I will eventually would be more money than I am willing to spend at the moment but I wanted to pick the communities brain as far as a tarp tensioner. Prussic of shock cord on zing it and then make a fixed eye for the other end of zing it. Better ideas?

I camp in bear country and I am a bear Burrito.
That might work and see Shug's videos with rubber tubing tensioners built in to guy lines.
I just use shock cord altogether.
