help with DIY fronkey-style bugnet out of sheet

    So, I have this sheet:
    SUNP0012.jpg
It's made out of a no-see-um type material and I thought it would be fun to make into a fronkey-style bugnet, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about this. So here I am tapping into the ever-growing pool of collective knowledge that is Hammock Forums.
My main problem: How would you sew this stuff. I have a sewing machine(or thread-injector, as you are fond of calling it), but I'm not sure whether to fold it over itself to give it more thickness or what. Th e stuff is really light and slightly stretchy. I can only do this once(it's about 8'6'' x 8'6''), and I'm afraid it's going rip. I'm a little new at this if you couldn't tell.
    Thanks,
    Deltair

Just do a rolled hem with both layers of fabric together. Sew the diagonal seams and to seam inside out. Then hem the bottom so you can put a draw cord. It is a good idea to reinforce the ends with grosgrain and put draw cords there too. I also like to put hooks to hook the suspension. Puts less pressure on the fabric.
    Peace Dutch

It stitches easily by the way. Ball point needles are working best for me.
