Full time hammock for 10' or 11' stand

So, I'm thinking about upgrading my wife and my hammocks to something along the lines of a Brazilian or Mayan. I kind of like the idea of the solid piece of fabric that a Brazilian has, but I've never tried either. In looking at them it seems like most of them are in the 12-13' range I'm thinking that won't work too well on 11' stand much less a 10'. Can anyone recommend something that they've actually used in a space like this?

I don't know exactly what _type_ of "Stand" you are wanting to use...but here are two pics I uploaded from test hangs. The first is of my WB BB on one of my DIY stands with a 10ft ridgepole. You an see there is plenty of room for the blackbird (at 101" ridgeline) to hang properly. I used this set up for about ~20 or so nights last season:

The next image is a test hang of my wife's WB RR on a commercial TATO stand kit with a 13ft ridgepole. We went with the 13ft pole on the TATO as Brandon of WB shared the RR will need this as an approximate minimum hang measurement. The setup is great and the wife is totally comfy.

and here is the same RR but with a WB Superfly setup. Again, great fit. The SF is an 11ft tarp on ridgeline.

    ah, got it.
I'm not familiar (other than reading a couple years ago) with the myan and similar wider hammocks. I understand (as you mentioned) they are typically hung between larger distances, i'm wondering if a ridgeline on a mayan would allow for narrower hang (like in a typical bedroom setup) ??

A 12' hammockwe with a 9.5' ridge line till fit on a 10' stand just doesn't sound like it work well.
