Not only is it a good idea to have extras in case one breaks, I find that I use them for all sorts of little camp utility things.
Do you mean a length of paracord? It's just that I NEVER buy spare shoelaces, any laces that need replacing get replaced with some paracord 550 which I cut to a suitable length and melt the ends of. I can definitely see the value in having some paracord when you go camping.

What little things are a MUST bring?

Airpods (wireless earphones by Apple). They are lightweight at 1.63 oz. They charge with the same cable as your iPhone. Sound pretty good for their size; decent for music, excellent for podcast, audiobooks, and calls. They don’t block out ambient noises or people talking. They’re sweat resistant despite not claiming to be. You can use one at a time if you like. You can get waterproof silicone cases for them if you like, mine weighs 0.87 oz with an added mini s-biner. You can make phone calls on them. Indeepensible, in my opinion.

Fire can be made easily and even more quickly with no tools.

Doesn't look as "neat" but you're gonna burn it, right??

My must bring item is one of the tiny clip on reading lights that you get from the dollar store. Super cheap and the lights do last awhile... basically a throwaway item and weighs like 20 grams.

Have you ever tried the micro one that uses tea candles? I think the company has discontinued them but they are still available on amazon and such.
