What little things are a MUST bring?

Lately I have been searching retail, Ebay, HF for the little things that people bring that make hammock camping even better. Not looking for expensive items but rather the cheap little do dads, gadgets, toys, tools, kitchen items that are MUST haves.

What is it that you bring that makes you happy or makes your life a little easier? Pictures if you want but not needed. Thanks!

A stool is nice. Sitting, used as a night stand, storing your gear off the ground...it is pretty useful.

When I need a quick drink out of the river, I love the Life Straw. Lightweight and has a string to hang around your neck.

For car camping I bring my sitting bucket. It's just a regular bucket from Home Depot, outfittied with sitting pad/closure, and a side belt from one of my sport bags. Good for keeping your food in it, and sitting on top of your food, so nobody will steal it.

I like my small lantern. It served me well. Can be hang on a ridgeline.
I like my big wooden spoon. It's very useful to help someone with their excess of food.
I like my big kabar knife - which can be used to split logs, or fight a bear.

Oh,man, one can live without many absolutely necessary things, but cannot live without toys.

Alite Monarch chair. I get really uncomfortable sitting on rocks or logs with my bony backside. This chair fixed the problem, and I can set it virtually anywhere without having to worry about the ground being unlevel. The 2 legged design is wonderful!

I agree, although I only bring mine when going with someone else. When I am by myself, I just sit in the hammock more.
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.

Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!

One of the small candle lanterns. I don't always bring it, but when solo it is sometimes nice to have a small flame, without going to the trouble of a fire.
Recently added to the kit a small piece of pack towel and a zip lock bag for a quick wash down. Nothing like being clean before climbing into the hammock.

On our group trips, at least one of us will bring a collapsible 5 gallon water jug for communal water at camp. Filling it up using a Katadyn Hiker Pro is a 20 to 25 minute task that nobody really enjoys, but it sure beats having to filter water everytime someone needs some. One of these days, we really need to upgrade to a gravity filter to save us from the hassle of pumping this Katadyn.
