Tarp Suspension using Dutch Tarp Worms ("Ridgeline" not Guy Lines)

I was just sitting here thinking...

And I was wondering if anybody has tried rigging a tarp up using Dutch Tarp Worms and cordage like Zing-It.

It seems to me that you could:

1) Attach a Tarp Worn to the end of a long line of Zing-It (for example)

2) Run the line through the tarp ridgeline tie out

3) Wrap it around the tree to meet the other end at the proper tension and fasten it.

I think you'd have to do at least one side with more conventional methods as the Tarp Worm needs tension to "stick". But I'm thinking it would work to have a stinger on one side and a line/worm combo on the other.

I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this but I haven't seen it elsewhere.

I had though about trying that too but I like my loop aliens at the moment. The tarp worms seem a little small in the hand for that application though. Making the tiny loop would hard with gloves or at night. Plus the release could be pulled by accident and drop your tarp.
