    Question Tadpole delivery times?

I ordered a Tadpole last Friday (6 days ago). I did get an immediate email confirmation and I went to the website andcan see the invoice there. However, I couldn't find an email address or any other way to get an order status. I used their "contact me" page to ask about it, but I'm not sure if that's the right place — it seemed more like a place to give product feedback.

So I wanted to see if anyone has ordered a tarp recently and if so, what their delivery times were like. Looking at this forum, it seems that in the past many people have received their items in less than a week. I live in Atlanta, GA, so once it ships, it should get here pretty fast. I did request tri-loops on the tie-outs, so maybe that's treated as a custom order and takes longer?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on a good way to contact them? Really just trying to figure out if I should start working on a "plan B" tarp for my camping trip next weekend.

Update: Wow, I post, hit the head, and then come back to find I already have a reply from Marty to my "contact us" message. He says it should get to me today. Very nice response time and I'm very excited to see I'll be getting it soon enough to dry run it this weekend!

Update #2: And, I get home and there it is on my doorstep. Very nice!

Depends on if Marty was out at a show for the weekend. My typical order to shipping times from him (excluding my Black Friday orders) have been about 1 to 1.5 weeks. Marty tends to put his nose to the grindstone after an order is placed and then next thing you hear from him is from Pay Pal that the order has shipped. He knows his work and typically isn't talking up a storm with you while working on it.

I ordered and OMW from Marty less than a month ago and I had it in in hand by 1.5 weeks.

Just FYI for anyone reading who's going to get a Tadpole... noticed Dutchwaregear has them in stock. He typically ships real quick.

When I ordered mine a few years ago, it made it to my door 3 days after ordering. I even had them add the pull outs, super fast shipping.

Just to show I actually have it now , here's a few pics of it set up in the backyard. Since most of my tarp rigging is wherever my superfly is hiding, I had to scavenge some new setups together. I deconstructed a Dutch Continuous Ridgeline setup and turned it into a modified Dehoja-style version. Then I found some nite-ize tiedowns I'd gotten as a gift a while back and paired them up with some continuous loops of shock cord to make tensioners.

When I finished, I was actually pretty happy with it - it goes up and down very quickly.

Does anyone know if the tarps are already made or are they made to order? Last Friday I ordered one, received a receipt but have not received notice that its been shipped. Most other online orders I have placed with other businesses (except for Detroit Grooming Co) have shipped pretty quickly. I don't recall the website saying please allow X-Y weeks for delivery so I was curious. Obviously I am excited to receive this but I am trying to be patient and have not contacted the Wilderness Logics yet. Would be nice to know when to expect it so I can plan accordingly...

Why ask us?? Why not go to the source and keep your business between you and WL??

I would expect about 2 weeks. That's how long mine took, despite claims of getting them sooner.

That's all I was looking for... I didn't contact the vendor because I figured they get that question all the time and someone already started a thread titled 'tadpole delivery times'.
