    My new Clark TX-270!

I added a Clark TX-270 to my quiver just after the holidays and just want to say that I really like this hammock. The folks at Clark were great to deal with and answered my numerous questions over the phone and through multiple emails. This TX-270 is well thought out, easy to set up, and very comfortable. The first thingIi noticed is that I didn't have to exaggerate the diagonal lay. I usually end up slightly off center and the lay is flat as can be. I changed the suspension out with a Cinch Buckle System from Dutchware because I didn't like messing with the stock rope and drip ring set up. The set up 'seems' expensive but when you add it up and consider what you are getting in terms of features it makes sense and the cost is very reasonable.

Tx-250 guy here as well. Not sure of variance between models but TX line is great. I changed out suspension for whoopie slings to make easier and faster to hang. Www.Whoopieslings.com. Makes great mods for the Clark. Both suspension and guy line options on tarp. I'm eyeballing a Warbonett Blackbird though as my "option play" in the woods or as a share hammock when I bring along those who've never tried hammocking before.

I added a new Clark NX 270 to my gear collection as a motivater to inspire me to lose some weight, i just love the look of it and Clark builds a decent hammock/
So far i've lost 28 pounds so i think the NX trick is working, cannot wait till i can get in it.

Got a New Vertex and a 2013 NX250 (got the 250 here on HF) Really like them both. The VERTEX is the least comfortable of the two but that is purely based on how "motionless" your sleeping companion can be. I still use my Warbonnet XLC when weight is a factor but any of them are far and away better than going to ground...

shipsgunner - i've been thinking about the Vertex also for camping with my wife as she doesnt like sleeping in her own hammock. I also have the XLC that i really like but lately i find mysef grabbing the Clark more frequently, it depends on what i'm doing. They're both great though and i'm glad I have an option!
