With the warm UQ, the bag and a wool blanket, you'll probably be fine. I don't think you'll freeze to death. Bring some of those hot hands. They work great!!! Also, if you have a Nalgene type bottle, we can boil some water and fill it before bedtime. Bring a wool sock that you can slip over the bottle. You'll have a nice, warm water bottle to keep you warm all night. Oh, and don't forget a warm hat to sleep in!! That helps a bunch!

I actually hung at Crowders two weekends ago (with a half-dozen ground dwellers - good people, tho). Nice campsite, nice facilities, easy hike from the parking lot.
It was very very VERY cold overnight. I confirmed that my current setup isn't adequate for that. But the forecast for this weekend is much friendlier.

We had a great time. The weather was cool; the moon was bright. The group sites at this park are awesome. Each site has two picnic tables, a fire ring, grill and lantern stand. There is pump water available. Very nice pit toilets and trashcans are adjacent to the sites. Stocked lockers with firewood for purchase are there, too. We will definitely be hanging here again.
