    Hammock camping magazine?

I was just wondering something, and wasn't sure where to post the question, so I guess I'll just post it here. Is there a magazine published that's dedicated to hammock camping? Always looking to expand my catalog of reading material for those times I'm out and about and have some downtime that I'd usually fill by reading something like Backpacker Magazine. I did a Google search for this, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Do magazines still exist? You can check out The Ultimate Hang. Derek blogs pretty regularly.

I'll check that out as well. Earlier today, I was thinking about this subject matter, and figured I'd look into it. When I was all gung ho about landscaping, and heavily involved with the forums on LawnSite.com, I was reading Turf magazine quite a bit. I always found it interesting because they had a section in there titled "In Your Own Words" that was basically excerpts from threads on LawnSite that were relevant to current issues in the lawn care & landscaping industry. Plus a lot of the articles about new innovations in equipment was just really interesting to me. I was looking for something along those lines that's geared towards hammocks and hammock camping enthusiasts. Seems like it'd exist somewhere since there seems to be a magazine for every other hobby out there.

Physical media and publishing is a dying industry, more and more people prefer instant online information and video, there is nothing you cant find in a magazine that isnt online somewhere, as the people that write the articals usually have it published online as well.
I am not saying that people dont buy them but is it on the decline.

^ yup...but there's still something comforting about sitting on my couch on a lazy morning with a cup of coffee and a backpacker magazine. Much better than staring at my iPad or computer. But, then again, I'm the guy who buys real books over kindle version

+1 to that. I also prefer real books over kindle versions. I'm not discounting the "kindle version", that could always be an alternative version to the printed version for people who prefer the digital media. A lot of magazines out there are done as printed and digital versions, so it could be done like that as well, and all would be well.

That's what tablets are for. Although...in the winter when it's cool inside, that laptop can keep your legs pretty warm!
