    Flight Jacket vs Renegade

    Guys,
Flight Jacket vs Renegade. What are the major differences between these two UGQ quilts? I've read the descriptions but I'm missing the differences other than possibly the cut of each.

The Renegade has the baffles laid out for better warmth optimization.
    Does it work ......oh yah
And the insulated foot box of the Renegade means no more cold feet for me....the 20* Renegade far exceeds my 15* Marmot SB foot box/bag

    Worth every penny for me.

For warmer weather of AL the difference may not be so notable ...depends on what sort of chill your wanting to hang in

Temperature range: Flight Jacket is available as a 40° or 50° version; Renegade tops out at 30°.
Footbox style: Flight Jacket has drawcord and flat-sewn. Renegade offers sewn & fully insulated.
Taper: Flight Jacket can be full or partial-taper. Renegade is basically full-taper only.

When I did my research it seemed that the Renegade is a dedicated cold-weather quilt while the Flight Jacket line was more versatile with a wider temp range and footbox options that allow it to be opened up.

My 0° and 20° topquilts are Renegades.

Men hang out their signs indicative of their respective trades; shoe makers hang out a gigantic shoe; jewelers a monster watch, and the dentist hangs out a gold tooth; but up in the Mountains of New Hampshire, God Almighty has hung out a sign to show that there He makes men.

One other difference: Flight Jacket maxes out at 55" wide, the Renegade is 60" wide.
