That's a new one.
No I do not believe anyone dose. Each person lays in a hammock a little different, getting into your sweet spot in the hammock, the angle, head to foot balance, side or back sleeping is different from one individual to another and from hammock to hammock for most of us. Having a TQ fixed in position would make that difficult to individualize.

Intriguing idea, though...
I don't see why it couldn't be a DIY project and personalize it. Of course, you would lose the ability to tuck it around you, shift positions and bring your foot-coccoon (or whatever you call it) with you, use a different quilt for different temps, vent when you get warm...
Okay, talked myself out of it. Still a neat idea, though!

How about putting snaps that could attach...No! Just let it go.

What about putting a zip down the middle for venting? Make it a light quilt (i.e. 40/50 degree) and then if you want to use it for colder weather throw another quilt over it. Or just make another hammock for colder weather. Can never have too many hammocks.
Lots of folks have played with using a sleeping bag as a sock. Not the same, but similar.
Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same
I don't think we'll be seeing one of those unless you DIY it. Too many cons and not enough pros.

I only see disadvantages and no advantage... With underquilts I get it - it eliminates gaps. But with a top quilt my guess is that you would create gaps where there were none before. Venting would be difficult. And you would have a fixed lay. What would be the advantage?
I guess "What's the advantage?" is the real question. The only way I can see it being an advantage is as part of a winter pod type setup where it forms your outer layer, and you have a TQ under it. But then, you are basically making a pod.

Thanks guys ! I'm learning. Things just move around so much for me in hammock. Keeps moving down from my shoulders. I did take a old mummy bag cut in in half. I sewed cut edge and hung it (foot end) at top of hammock with a piece of bungie. So now I have double insulation on top half of body (kind of half top quilt) . Its also nice that the foot end does surround my head nice too (warm) . I know maybe I need to get the right hang better too. I also use a 10 degree sleeping bag and SnugPak cocoon... in low temps. Wish someone made a sleeping bag with top zipper..instead of side. Good day and hangs to all , Jeff
