    Which hammock gear underquilt?

I'm ready to pull the trigger on one of these epic underquilts.

    I'm 5'10.5".

They come in short, standard and large.

Could I get away with a short version for three season use?

Also should I go with the lighter argon 67 fabric? I'm not heavy on my kit so is the weight saving worth it?

If you contact hammock gear and talk to Adam or Harry and they will be glad to help you with your under quilt needs. They will have several questions for you like at what temps are you going to us this quilt. But if you can don't talk to Horrice.

I'm 5'11" and all my HG quilt sets (I have three) are standard. I'm not sure why you want to go short since you're not short.

I am 5'11" and have the standard (full) length Incubator. I like the length as it covers my shoulders and feet just fine. I too wondered about the fabric and actually called to change from the argon 67 to the 90 before they made it. I was concerned about under brush being an issue for some places I camp. However, I have since become more comfortable with the 67 after making a TQ and think that with care you will be just fine using the 67 for the UQ. If needed for heavy brush areas an UQP would do the job. Save the weight.

    Great quilts and service.

Get the standard. I'm 5'9" and just sold my short incubator for a standard. The short covered me from shoulders to just below feet but barely. I was spending more time adjusting it.

For the fabric, keep in mind if you'll be using an underquilt protector. If so, go with the 67. If you won't be, the 90 will be a little more durable and wind/water resistant.
