    UGQ made my day.

I found my new 11' Dark Olive Silpoly WD waiting for me when I got home from work tonight. I've spent the last few months looking at different tarps, vendors, fabrics etc, but kept being drawn back to UGQ and the Winter Dream and so decided to place an order a few weeks ago...and I'm very happy that I did.

On quick out the box inspection it appears to live up to the great UGQ quality I've read about (my first order), all I need now is a day off work and some half decent weather to get out and try it .

So I just wanted to write a quick Post to Paul & Missy to say it arrived safely in the UK and also a big thank-you to you both.

    Steve.

Sweet! As I dream about a winter tarp this the one that I also keep coming back to. Some day... Look forward to your review. With that tarp all you need is the day off work, decent weather be damned.

Bit of good weather just makes it better for pics, all we've had here lately is grey gloom and our annual 3 days (if were lucky) of summer is still a long way off.....

You are gonna be more than happy with that tarp, after you set it up once you will wonder how you got along with that HH Hex all this time, congrats on your purchase, UGQ's do very nice work.

Congratulations! I can't wait for mine to arrive!

It is almost "on deck".... I can't wait to see it, especially with the center pole mod that I chose! I'm in custom hammock heaven (or purgatory) right now, my Dangerbird is "in progress", probably shipping tomorrow... and my Winter Dream will likely be done in a week.

I haven't decided how to bling out my WD yet... I have a continuous ridgeline on my Hennessy, with tarp fleaz on the corners. I keep my guy lines tied to my stakes. I like that setup, but not sure how well it will work with the door setup. Apparently the poly, will allow me to not deal with shock cord needs on my guy lines, so that's cool.

For anyone waiting.... I found staying away from the "Show us your Winter Dream " thread helps keep anticipation at manageable levels.

I think I'm sorted for guy lines...........I have some tarp door hooks which I need to rig up though so I may still use a short loop of shock cord with the hook on and larks head to the door rings down to a shorter guy line which may save pulling the tarp about to much when going in or out but I'll have to try it to see if it works or not.
