Wow, that looks quite nice. So your saying that this should be roughly as strong as the 1.6oz hyperD? That and the width make this a pretty obvious choice for a future hammock, providing its safe for to normal loads /etc.
And I say future, because I too have just recently finished a new hammock, and while this is tempting , I'll likely hold off for now.
What's the stretch like - does it compare to the 1.9oz ripstop you sell? Or more like the 1.6oz HyperD? I'd love to find a tough, lightweight nylon fabric with low stretch...
So what is the weight rating on the fabric?
As there are a few 1 oz hammock fabrics about.
Also so not to confuse is this the same robic fabric that gossimer gear use?
Thanks

That is pretty exciting at that width. A 60" fabric (58-59" usable) makes a good hammock for me especially with my UQ width, but I do find myself wanting about 6" more width to really get spread out. A durable 1oz/yd fabric is right in the sweet spot and that dark olive is very sexy.

I'm also interested in how much it stretches. All of the other currently available 1.0oz fabrics stretch too much for my liking.
