"I wonder if anyone else has an ear so tuned and sharpened as I have, to detect the music, not of the spheres, but of earth, subtleties of major and minor chord that the wind strikes upon the tree branches. Have you ever heard the earth breathe... ?"
- Kate Chopin
Hammonky, I think most of the recommendations here are likely the issue, with the snugness of your UQ. One thing that I learned the hard way, that you may or may not know: I found that there was a head end and foot end to my Incubator. One night I had my head at the wrong end and was really cold all night, without any other changes to the suspension. Once I corrected that, I was warm and snug the following night.

Stupid question but, what did you have on top for insulation?
Hanging somewhere you can bail at a temp lower than the quilt rating can help highlight any drafty spots that need adjusting. Feedback to your adjustments is a lot easier to pick up on and comes a lot faster.
I did this with my 20* Phoenix and had the same negative experience. It was dark when I set up and it wasn't until the morning when I could see what was wrong. My newer 40* Phoenix has an HG tag at the head end and a white suspension clip making it easier to tell. My older 20* Phoenix does not have the HG label on it. I did add the white and black hooks to it so it would work like my 40*.
