Hahaha, wow! This trip was crazy! Never have I hiked barefoot in the winter, climbed an ancient wall, or howled with the coyotes! Really, the only way to understand is by watching the video

How thick was the ice--I'd be scaired to fall through ice into water? A grand adventure--thanks for sharing.

I am not sure how thick the ice was but the river had a bunch of quad and snowmobile tracks on it so I wasn't too worried. But I did stay close to the shore just in case!

Well, I've certainly never seen anything like that before. Looks pretty cool though. Just think, you don't have to bear bag anything because you've already bagged yourself
