Help me find a hammock pillow that works as well as...

+1 on the Thermarest. It seems to be filled with lots of walnut-sized chunks of foam. You roll it up to compress it into a significantly smaller bundle but then it snaps back into shape once you open it back up. The fabric cover tends to cling to the hammock fabric pretty well so it stays put once you're laying on it.

I've had mine for years and it just goes through the washer every few trips. Maybe make your own as already mentioned. Chop one of those fancy foam pillows in half and make a cotton or fleece cover.

I also use a thermarest at home. I use a travel pillow in my hammock. I piccked it up in an airport traveling. But it scrunches just where I need the support in the hammock.

I have enjoyed my down Hammock Gear down pillow that is filled with down. Did I mention it is down filled? I find I do not need a thick pillow in the hammock. The HG pillow is comfortable, warm in the winter and comes with a shock cord to guarantee it is always within reach.

I used to sleep with a regular bed-pillow under my knees, but when I moved houses, the pillow got designated somewhere else. I've been sleeping without it for a few months, just bunching the blanket under my knees, but I'd like to try a pillow again. I'm afraid the inflatable ones would be sweaty...I initially went from bed to hammock to avoid waking up all sweaty. Any recommendation for a non-sweaty pillow? A Sobakawa pillow? How's the Thermarest foam chunk one in this regard? This is for indoor, so weight and bulk are not an issue...

Has anyone tried the UGQ Down Pillows (3 different options of firmness available)? Their other products are outstanding so I've been wondering if their pillows are equally good. Also interested if there are any recommendations on firmness for the UGQ Pillows.

I had one for a while and liked it. I imagine I still have it, but it's evaded discovery on the last several trips, and I found I was fine without it. Still miss it though, so I ordered a pillow from Dutch with my last order. If I can ever find my Cub, I can compare and contrast. A feature of the Cub that I really liked was the cord to attach it to the ridge line. Otherwise it would have sunk to the lowest point like everything else. The new pillow has a loop, too, so i should be able to do something similar.

I think somebody mentioned it already, but cutting your tempurpedic in half is a good option. My tempurpedic also changed how well I sleep(I have 3 now). I also have a log style pillow with the tiny foam beads and a stretchy cover that is very good. Its a cheap dollar store item.
