I hope to see you folks.

If it is just the lack of hammocks that is stopping you from coming, I have a couple to spare. I am sure we could outfit you completely.

In short. Just come. We got you covered, and suspended, and warm, and comfy too.

Thanks, that's a great offer. She doesn't know about the timing and temp, so i am hoping that the excitement of her new hammock will push her over the edge and want to go early this year...

Well, I've ordered my Superfly (really considered the JRB Universal), HG Burrow top quilt, JRB quilt liner, inheriting my husband's HG Phoenix underquilt (with extra filling!). Now I have to order my hammock. Going with Dream Hammock DangerBird. I'm excited, but nervous, too. I've slept in a Night Owl 3 times, and I'm still adjusting to the whole hammock feel. But getting in and out of our tent is just not so easy at 47 (and the aches and pains that come with getting older....)

We weren't able to go camping at all in 2015, as our beloved dog Georgie was battling a brain tumor, and, sadly, we lost him in October. We are excited to get back out there, though it sure will be different without our boy.

As far as this hang, early April still seems a bit cold for me. I'm more of a Memorial Day to Columbus Day kind of gal... But we'll see. Maybe getting my new gear will just make me want to get out there!

===> Welcome Tom! You can just show up if you want - signing up on the spreadsheet gives us some idea of headcount for various things, food etc. Please DO come! You will see/try many different hammocks, tarps, insulation options, suspensions and other goodies. Be prepared to eat nonstop for a couple of days!

    Hope to meet you there!
