Looks like it's coming straight from Hennessy....they just have an Amazon store. Lots of companies have direct sales and also on Amazon. Same hex tarp though. A bit cheaper and prime shipping.....
Welcome aboard!
The Hennessy Hex tarp is well known. Big and strong. I have one I use for car camping. They sell a lighter version for more $ for backpackers.
Come up to Merchants Mill Pond SP (Frosty Butt Hang) later this month and we'll talk about and show you our gear.
Hmmm @ $72 I will have to consider this... Weight isnt an issue for me and in the past I've used what tarps happen to be in the garage...
My last trip had me with two 4x6 tarps just barely covering me.... It wasnt ideal.
Donna here...
FYI...some of Hennessy's Hex Tarps are asymmetrical....yes the Hex. We have received quite a few to put doors on. We now have a door pattern for the symmetrical and also the asymmetrical HH Hex. I can't tell from the picture if it is asym...sort of looks like it. Either way...the HH Hex is a nice tarp.

Does not appear to be catenary cut, so it'll flap in the wind.

.
The HH Hex asym is a cat cut tarp. The edge of one side is the standard cat cut. The opposite side edge (same end of the tarp) is longer and is slightly less of a cat cut. The other end of the tarp is the same, but reversed.
I hope I have explained it so you can visualize what it looks like!

I bought my tarp from Amazon. I love it. A little heavy but I think the coverage is plenty.
Good tarp. My first one as well as my first hammock was Hennessey. If you get one you can't go wrong for that price!
What I like about HH is that the reinforcing triangles at the tie-outs have pockets to tuck your guy lines into. Still think this is a genius
idea!
