    Replacement for Lash-It Soft Shackles

    Guys,
Got out on Friday to test my new setup and new Continuous Ridge line from DutchWare. It was still cool and I had a hard time opening the Lash-It soft shackles to connect them to the tarp. What are other options are there to connect a tarp to the CRL other than the TATO connectors?

Put small biners on the soft shackles if you remove the ridgeline form the tarp often.

Maybe I'm doing this all wrong. Do most guys leave the CRL attached to the tarp?

Yes, I leave mine attached with the tarp in snake skins. It makes set up a breeze!

I leave mine attached as well. The only thing not wound up in the tarp are the stakes.

Yes I leave mine attached unless I want to put it on another tarp.

Ok, thanks guys. Next setup I'll leave it attached. I'm new and still learning.

    I'm the odd man out...

I pack all my cordage with the stakes. I like to put up the ridge line and then attach the tarp to it.

There's a thread that might be useful. I posted a pic of a tensioner I use.

I don't pack the line with my stakes but I take it off the tarp and make it up and stow it in the tarp sack. I keep stakes with my toggles, straps and whoopies.
