I ordered a UGQ Winter Dream 13' for my WBRR. I am new to hanging and have only hung outside in the Winter once a few weeks ago here in SE Michigan. The low for the night was 19*. So not super cold. I was using my Clark tarp as the UGQ WD was just ordered a week ago. I know a huge issue in the Winter is condensation inside a tent/tarp; while not an issue for me when I tried the WBRR under the Clark tarp, I suspect it may be an issue inside the UGQ WD with it's doors. In the four season, double-walled tent I have there are vents in the top that can be opened to reduce condensation. It works very well for my Hillenberg tent. I am wondering if the same would work for a tarp ... Add some vented flaps near the ridge line can be opened when not raining/snowing to keep condensation low, and shut with Velcro edges when it is raining/snowing. Has anyone done this with their tarp? If yes, does it work?
