Hi everyone! My name is Chuckles and I've recently rekindled my interest in backpacking/camping that I had when I was in the Scouts many moons ago. I fell into the idea of Hammock camping after searching youtube for the latest and greatest camping info, and I found my way here thanks to info I found on Shug's videos. Hoping to learn a lot and may even contribute some.

Hey from a fellow Marylander. I live in western Maryland with some great hanging spots and we are close to some of the best hiking on the east coast in "All most Heaven" West Virginia. I cut my teeth to with the Scouts many years ago hiking and camping and just recently got back into it. I'm retiring from work soon and plan on adventuring more and more into the "piney woods" as Shug would say....Maybe we can a get a group hang going for Spring....
