I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.
Here is mine.

Nice work, Meaxe!
very nice. I picked up a couple of these but my wife and kids snatched them and never got around to making them into hanging gear. I think now that the weather is warm I can get them back without them knowing...
a couple questions --
1. about how much down do you think is in the whole quilt?
2. would there be too much down for the size of the channels if I doubled it up using the down from the second quilt?
bser clone top quilt, fun and easy project. Going to make a matching uq to make a nice summer quilt set for under $75

A good question, but I have no idea and will watch to see if someone posts an answer.
I'd say yes, putting all the down from two throws into one throw would be too much. Perhaps from a 3rd throw into 2 other throws (half in each) might not be too much, maybe. Just my down-ignorant guess.

How did you sew the extra row with the rest of the quilt? Putting one over the other and adding stitches? Or dit you roll the edge? I want to make a TQ too, and it's the only detail bugging me.
Also, how did you finish the side that you cut? Did you roll the hem?
Thanks guys
I sewed two lines close together and then cut between them. Add the extra row and just sew it on. I trimmed my TQ with grosgrain to add some color and make everything tidy looking.
Bser's design all the way.
