Thanks for the info. That's not ideal as I was curious to see it.

It's totally worth donating here. Just pull the trigger.
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

This is my first sewing project. I bought some .875" bias tape so I hope that'll work for the channels. I have three throws and plan on making a convertible summer/winter quilts out of them.

Has anyone done this for a bridge hammock yet? I'm thinking about making one like raftingtigger (post #12) only straight up and down instead of diagonal because it's for a RidgeRunner. Heavy, yes, but if it works I'll get the down out of one half of the detachable part, stuff it in the remaining half, and sew it shut. I'll still have one more quilt that I can pull the down out of or make a TQ.

My stepfather-in-law has family in Toledo. He was there a couple of weekends ago and picked up 6 at Costco, three for each of us. If he goes again I'm going to tell him to buy them all and then sell them to HF members at cost. It may be a while, though.

Thats a bummer. Makes sense I guess, since its not a hammocking-specific item.

Thanks Wanderlust78 I wish I had sewed some pleats in the foot end because I have a cold spot under my left hamstring. Not sure how I can fix it now without taking the channels out. I won't put the grosgrain around the next one I will just fold a channel, it just too stiff and adds weight. Oh well that just gives me an excuse to make another one.

If its a bit drafty, you could try a UQP. It solved the cold spot problem for me, or add a draft collar.

That's true, but we are in a DIY underquilt thread haha. It's all good. I'll get back around to it eventually.
Look up before you hook up!!
