    Complete lightweight suspension

What would be the most lightweight suspension for a half-wit? (or any other gathered end, I know...).

I noticed that Dutch (finally ) updated the half-wit product page, with the Hexon 1.0 fabric. I've had my eyes on this for a while, and I also mailed with Dutch who let me know, that it was possible to order this.

But now I'm wondering what the most lightweight option of a suspension would be. I know there are more light weight options, that then ones you're able to select from the half-wit product page, but I'm wondering what the ideal setup would be. I'm thinking the new kevlar 2.2 instead of regular strabs, but are there more? And what would the end result weight approx?

Kevlar straps and the speedhooks are what I use.

I'm waiting on speed hooks to come back on the site at the moment. They look like the lightest most flexible solution for the hardware that has been created.

The 1.0 hexon with whoopie hook suspension and the 2.2 kevlar straps would weigh very, very little for what I consider a practical setup. There are other and lighter suspension methods that don't use any hardware, but they aren't practical for my purposes.

This was what I had in mind. Pratical and easy lightweight suspension setup is what I'm aiming for

I've read about these speedhooks and have been looking forward to the 2.0. But I'll be honest and admit I'm not really certain how they look or function

I think I did the same a while ago, but discarded the mental memorybank, because Dutch didn't recommend the use of them until 2.0 was out.

I'm interested in this topic, too. My thoughts were kevlar and the spiders with continuous loops on each end of hammock. My only question is does the weight of longer kevlar or straps (for more adjustability) negate the weight savings compared to short straps and whoopie slings and hooks?

    Complete lightweight suspension

Dutch just came out with a lighter 1" Kevlar strap too. Lighter than 2.2. That with dynaglide whoopies as Funny Money said

*edit* the 2.2 is the nighter version of the 3.3. My mistake
