    FL > LWRSF>Feb 19-21> 5th Annual Sherpa Hang

It's time!!! Who's ready for some good times at Creekside?
Since samsara isn't here anymore I'm going to get this started.
#1. Stop at the kiosk to make your payment. $2.00 per night per person. Envelopes are in the yellow post. Fees in envelope placed in upper slot on post, hanging tag on rear view mirror.

#2. There are a numbers of routes in to Creekside. See map below.
    A. The Paula Dockery Trail, orange, a scenic hike along the banks of Reedy Creek. The track is as the crow flies. Follow until reaching the sign for Creekside.

    B. The blue trail. A straight but open sugar sand trail with minimal cover. At intersection with the orange trail turn right and follow to sign.
    C. The jeep trail, red, maybe the best trail if using a Sherpa.
    D. Scooby's Trail, green, a longer but easy trail, left at the fork until meeting the orange trail
    then left to the sign.
    E. Yellow track is the cutoff to Creekside.
    F. The pink X is the kiosk @ roughly 27°42'30"N 81°26'45"W
    G. The white rectangle on Ruck's Dairy Rd is overflow parking.

Note: only the orange and maybe the blue trails are blazed.

My plans are that lunches and dinners are the individuals responsibility. A steak and sweet potato Friday night and a dehydrated meal Saturday night. Offers for other options will be accepted.I will be providing CB grits for breakfast. A cobbler each evening if there is a conscience it is needed. I personally don't need any and depending on the number of people a 12" DO may not feed many.

Firewood is normally not a problem though we sometimes need to leave the general area to find it.

Looking forward to spending time in the woods with friends.

I'll be there! Probably ride in with Big Country and take the jeep trail.

Didn't mention the MM breakfast. If anyone would like to take the lead feel free to do so.

I'm in. Will be putting in for Friday off, so that we can get an early start and some extra time in the woods. Put me down for 4 pounds of ground sausage, and two large bags of shredded cheese to get the mountain man breakfasts started.

    Cheers

I'll be there, happy to contribute whatever is needed for breakfast.

If I can take the day off an the weather looks good I'm planning on coming in via the creek by paddleboard. I'll probably just put in at the county campground on the lake and paddle back there Sunday to avoid the need for any shuttles. If the weather looks particularly windy I'll just hike, but right now my plan is to get a couple miles on the paddleboard.

Ridgehanger, it will be good to sit around the fire with you and spend more time together than we had last weekend.
