Gonna be living vicariously through others for this one. We've attended the last four but due to a family health issue and needing to be home we had to miss it.

    Now WHERE are those PICS!!!!
    Happy Hangin'

Great time at HANGCON! For me personally it was a "reintroduction " into hammock hangin. It was so nice to see the old friends and make some new ones. Great job to all the organizers and volunteers. That you for all you do for the community. Thank you to the vendors who were there and also donated so many excellent items. I am looking forward to using my new item.

We arrived Saturday morning and the weather was warm and pleasant. It cooled off when the sun went down. The low hit somewhere in the 50's and where we were set up on the left side of the pond the skeeters were awful. One am started the rain and major wind, but from what I understand nothing like you guys had Friday. Last night also marked my first lightning experience while in the trees.

(Reposted from the original post for Hangcon) Had a great time at my first Hangcon. Brought my wife and daughter for their first hang and they had a great time, even with the crazy wind and rain last night. Many thanks to the organizers and crew for all the hard work. You made it a blast. Both my city girls, wife and daughter, ranked yesterday a 9 out of 10. And that is high praise coming from my daughter who wants to sleep all the time with her music on and the shades drawn. Look forward to next year. And now that we have the lay of the land we plan to help out more next year. Thanks again. Will add pictures soon as well as post them to the Dropbox folder.

My wife and I had a great time at out first event. Got to meet a bunch of great people and see a wide variety of setups. We are already planning on some changing our setups and coming out to future events. Bug thanks to everyone who helped organize and make this event happen.

Had a great time at HangCon! Outside in a hammock with lots of other folks in hammocks, good food, meeting old friends and making new ones makes for a great weekend!

Lilricky tying the knot at an event like this just seems right!

Y'all stay warm tonight in those under quilts and top quilts. The temp is dropping. Hope last nights storm isn't a repeater!

The wife and I made it back to Georgia safe and sound. Had a great time. A big THANKS to the folks that gave so unselfishly of their time and resources to make this event so easy on the rest of us. The vendors were great! Saw lots of old friends and made some new ones. Hope to see you all in the woods again!

Glad everyone is having safe travels. Not to rub it in ( OK, I'm rubbing it in) but it was 51° this morning going up to 61° later. I don't want to go home to the snow
