I have a HG burrow 20 and I wouldn't trade it for the world. It is super warm and my favorite piece of gear.

Have only purchased from UGQ and would happily recommend them because they were so patient and kind with all my dumb questions on my first quilt purchase. Amazing folks.

I'm in the same boat. I am thinking about going UGQ Zeppelin, and HG Burrow.

It is funny how these A vs. B threads always seems to indicate that A and B are wonderful products. And then there is mention of C,D, etc. Also all wonderful products. A little time spent here will indicate that there are many fine folks making great stuff. Asking me to favor one over the other, I simply won't do it. As an avid canoeist, it is like favoring one great canoe company over another. Look for the features you want in a boat and figure out through lots of research, who does that best. And no matter what you choose, there is always some kind of compromise.

Those vendors that have long history here can be found to be mentioned in so many positive ways. Figure out which features mean the most to you and determine if one does that better than the other. Most of all, know that we as a group are wonderfully blessed to have all this opportunity to own stuff made with great craftsmanship and design.

I peronally dont think you can go wrong with whom ever TQ you get. I have several tq's from UGQ and all work perfectly but i always wanted one from HG and so last month got one and its totally awesome. Has anybody ever mentioned I am an addict and uncureable? Love my quilts from both UGQ and HG. Flip a coin is my best advice.

Both make great gear. As you can see most of it comes down to personal preference. For me it comes down to which one is available used at a good price on the forum. Therefore I have a HG UQ and a UGQ TQ on the way. Either one you won't be disappointed with.
