This hammock was made for a winter weekend bivouac usage where we relax in outerwear and boots.
This is why the mesh was weaved from durable polypropylene packthread.

Yes, it's a bit heavy and it is 50x12x12cm (20x5x5in) in size (a wrapped pack).
The clew is put together from 15 polypropylene 2mm cords with a flexible ring made from the binded bunch of cords.
The 30 ends are braided as a shouldered sword mat (like for a NAVY hammock).

The flexible ring is to tiyng with a "Double sheet bend" to a suspension system.

The clew is attached to the mesh with "Perfection (angler's) loop" knots.
