Anywhere north of Miami, FL available for overnighter?

Anyone know of a park, or other location not to far north of Miami where I could hang for one night during this month?

Detailed information, if any, would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in Merritt Island FL. We like to go out to the spoil islands in the intercostal via boat.

This month? Well, depends on how much north you want to go. The big HANGCON, the largest gathering of hammock camping/hikers/backpackers in the world will be held at Doe Lake Campground in the Ocala National Forest January 14-19. Between Clearwater and Orlando, the obvious place that comes to my mine is the Green Swamp, not as swampy as the name implies, try this: http://suncoast.floridatrail.org/web/documents/GGgsw.pdf I would recommend Gator Hole campsite, again, not as Gatorey(is that a word) as the name implies.
